The lunar global and sectional topographic data
The topographic data of the lunar North and South Polar region (above 85 degrees, 1/64 degrees grid)
The black pixels of the image mean the void data. (The void datum was filled with the dummy data "-99".)
Lunar global topographic map using two weeks data in Jan. 2008 has been released since Apr. 9, 2008. The observation has been conducted now by LALT team mainly consisting of members of the RISE project in National Astronomical Observatory of Japan.
Five data sets derived from the topographic observation by LALT are released to the public using data from Dec. 30, 2007 to Mar. 31, 2008. The global 1 degree grid topographic data, the North and South Polar topographic data (above 85 degrees, 1/64 degrees grid), the 1/16 degrees grid topographic data of the Mare Serenitatis, and the global spherical harmonics coefficients data.
Each data set can be downloaded from the following links.
Please carefully read our "Terms of Use" before downloading the data. (Each file is ZIP archived and the Control character of line feed is "LF".)
